India -I Am yours forever Oh! Lord

With hearts full of joy and gratitude, the Franciscan Missionary Sisters of the Scared Heart Holy Family Province India Celebrated the Perpetual profession of

 Sr. Prasanta Ekka             (state of Jharkhand)

 Sr. Jayasree Kastala,       (State of Andhra Pradesh) and                               

 Sr. Chanti Boddu              (State of Andhra Pradesh)

on 3^rd July 2025, a grace filled day that coincided with the feast of St. Thomas the Apostle, the first missionary to India and a courageous witness to the Risen Lord. In the presence of the church and parents these sisters made their lifelong profession of the evangelical vows poverty, chastity and obedience, offering themselves totally and forever to Christ and His Mission. Their generous response to God’s call reflects the spirit of our Seraphic Fathetr St. Francis of Assisi and the missionary Zeal of our founder Venerable Fr. Gregory Fioravanti, whose deep love for the Sacred Heart inspired a life of service to the poor and needy.

The celebration was a profound reminder that God continues to call and consecrate hearts for His kingdom. On this special feast day, the echo of St. Thomas Proclamation “My Lord and My God” resounded anew through the total self gift of these three sisters. Their lives now become a living testimony of faith, love and dedication in the heart of Church and the world. May their lives be a radiant witness of the Gospel and a faithful continuation of our charism of compassionate love especially among the poor and needy.

We give thanks to God for calling them and we entrust their consecrated journey to the care of the Blessed Virgin Mary and our beloved founder venerable Fr. Gregory Fioravanti.
