CHRISTMAS AND KIDS’ DAY CELEBRATIONS IN LITTLE ANGELS E.M SCHOOL, PASURUPADU, A.P
Christmas: The Birth of Jesus at Bethlehem is one of the greatest, most joyful and wondrous events in the history of mankind. This great event, together with the kid’s talent day was celebrated solemnly in Little Angels E.M School, Pasurupadu on 22nd December 2022.
The presence of the distinguished dignitaries from the public administration of the region and the Parish Priest St, Antony’s Church Gospadu, solemnized the function. On that auspicious occasion, we celebrated also the Kids Talent Day. Every child is a different flower, which gives beauty, color and perfume in different ways. Altogether, they make this world a beautiful garden. It was a golden opportunity for our school kids to bring out their hidden talents and potentialities. As it was a spectacular celebration after the corona Pandemic, children as well as parents and staff were great enthusiastic to have this function. The wonderful inaction of Christmas skit with various dances and songs added joy and color to the program. Parents were invited and they were so much taken up by seeing the talents of their children. All appreciated the students and the tireless work of the Head Mistress Rev Sr.Kalpana and the teaching and non-teaching staff of the school.
The beautiful messages given by the dignitaries instilled in the minds of the students the value and importance of Jesus Birth. It was indeed a way of evangelizing; that we communicated the message of Christ through their children or even in their own words, since many of the dignitaries and the majority of the people present were not Christians. All appreciated the efforts of the school staff for their dedication and hard toil. We are sure they went home with hearts ringing joyful Christmas songs. The program got over by the vote of thanks of our Rev Sr. Mary Mangara, our Correspondent of the School.
The community did not stop sharing our Christmas joy with the school and the celebrations, we are well aware of the unfortunates living around our zone. On the eve of Christmas the community, St. Elizabeth Home visited one of the villages to share our Christmas joy with them by distributing Christmas cakes and clothes to each one and spending some time with them. It is one of the poorest villages of the surroundings; the people are still living below poverty level. There are about 50 families living in this village, who live by their daily wages when there is work they go out daily to earn something and live that day. It was a day of great joy for all of them to receive this Christmas gifts. In that way, we shared our solidarity with the poor.
Poor are always with us; they are the presence of God amidst us.
