"Always seek the greater glory of God, and make what is included in their hearts shine outside: the love of Christ Crucified". (Fri. Fr. Gregory)

"Always seek the greater glory of God, and make what is included in their hearts shine outside: the love of Christ Crucified". (Fri. Fr. Gregory)

Always encouraged by the certainty that " everything happens as it pleases God ", Fr. Gregorio perseveres in his edifying style of observance, both by making himself present to the confreres of the convent " Sant'Antonio " in Gemona, and by maintaining the commitment of guidance and direction, in "St Mary of the Angels ". The time of his rest, which is rather less, he prefers to spend in the chapel. From his persevering communion with God proceeds his apostolic charity and patience. In 1867, Fr. Gregory, with due permission, he established a small school and a boarding near the convent of the nuns. With this initiative, Fr. Gregory not only wants to assure the sisters a source of sustenance but he intends to create an environment that will form the sisters to a true missionary spirit and prepare them for the apostolic service that awaits them. From the United States, where the mission was flourishing well, requests for other nuns continued to arrive. After 1870, in Gemona, the educational ministry gave its first fruits both with regard to the academic outcome and the economic budget as well. Meanwhile, from Turkey, more precisely from Constantinople (today’s Istanbul), the missionary friars turned to Fr. Gregory with the request for nuns. Despite being harassed by the state of permanent precariousness, Fr. Gregory took care to prepare the sisters chosen for the new mission. In 1872, with all due permissions and in full agreement with the superior of the Order, Fr. Bernardino Dal Vago, he could assist, from the dock of Trieste, to the departure of this second batch of generous daughters. Greeting and blessing them, he exhorted them to seek "ever greater glory of God, and to make what is included in their hearts shine outside: the love of Christ Crucified ". (Cfr. M.
